Question:
I have a question about something I have experienced since I was about 18 years old (i'm a 23 yr old female). Lights seem to turn on and off when I walk past them, but mainly turn off. It could be street lamps when I drive or walk by, overhead lights in my house or a friends' house, or lights at work. Flickering of the light also sometimes occurs, but not as often. And of course at first I thought it was just complete coincidence or that street lamps were motion detected but that shouldn't be the case if they turn off and that wouldn't occur in my home. It also happens too often to be called coincidence.
Also, my younger sister, without telling her that this was occurring, told me this happens to her as well all of the time. I know for me it happens usually everyday and sometimes multiple times in a day and right when I walk past a light. I've always wondered if this is really coincidental or could be something paranormal? If so, what could possibly be an explanation for it?

What a great question regarding lights turning off...for me (Dean) this hits pretty close to home. I have been dealing with this phenomenon for quite sometime now..and have found that I am not alone. People who experience this strange occurence are considered SLIders:

We can try to guess what it means until the light turns back on why this is happening...I actually told myself that it was my guardian angel letting me know that I am on the right path...like I was suppose to be there. I know several people that this started happening to once I told them about it..so I just stopped paying attention.
